FPA from a 350 Workstation.

Unread postby Roman78 » Sun Sep 03, 2017 5:20 am

I have a 350 Workstation with a blown up mainboard. Bought it from a SGI guy who had more of those. I like the case and planned to mod some other mainboard in it. Bought i like 10 years ago, and now finally have some time to "mod", or as some other would say "slaughter".

Someone told me to remove the 1600SW FPA. So I did. As i don't need it i would like to sell but I can't find any usefull information about it. And there are some different FPA boards as i noticed. So now before I sell it, i would like to know what kind of board it exactly is.

Part number: 030-1350
FAB: 034-1350-002 Rev A.
And on the Yellow sticker: HYZ517

And some pictures.

Greetings, welcome to nekochan :)

Apologies, I forgot to tell you the last part of the adventure, which was to come on to nekochan as someone may be interested in the FPA. Best if you update your location! However I did mention it at the time to you because there was at least one other in your country iirc that *may* be looking for this (@Hombre71), maybe PM them.

afaik, there was only one version of the FPA for the 320 (possibly multiple revisions?), and it is different to the sgi O2 FPA (the only other SGI box to offer this as an option). There was also the odd PCI card (win2K) which has a OpenLDI connector (oxygen, revolution).

So, thanks to Roman78 for selling me the adapter at a very fair price.
It arrived yesterday, plugged it in this morning, works out of the box :)
