INDY SCA HD

I like to install SCA hard drive. In the INDY and use SCSI SCA 80 PIN NAAR 68 50 PIN SCSI Adapter. will this work? And will it fit in the INDY?
01 :Indy: R4000 100MHz, 32MB Ram, 8bit XL, IRIX 6.2
02 :Indigo2: R4400 200MHz, 128MB Ram, GR3-Elan, HD 4,2GB, IRIX
03 :Octane: R10000 195MHz 2x, 512MB Ram, SI and ESI, HD 2,1GB + 300GB, IRIX 6.5.30
04 :Indy: R5000SC 180MHz, 64MB Ram, 8bit XL, HD 1GB, No OS, IRIX need new installing
:1600SW: and Multilink adapter
05 :Indigo2IMP: R10000 195MHz CPU, 512MB RAM, HighImpact Graphics, 9GB HDD, IRIX 6.5.19

Haven't tried it with an Indy/Challenge S, but it worked fine for an Indigo2 using a 2.5" SCA HDD.

Yikes!! I need to update that page! :D

These days there are 1"-high direct 50/80pin adapters, so yes you can use an SCA + adapter just fine, you merely need to obtain a 50/80pin adapter (such adapters do not have any 68pin socket, and they are the same height as the disk). Naturally, I have them available, PM for details. :)
