FUEL just turned off

Unread postby uunix » Fri Feb 10, 2017 2:54 pm

Some weeks back I walked up to my FUEL and it was turned OFF.. but no I didn't turn it off I was sure. So turned it back on, no problem.

Last week same again & I was sure I wasn't going mad, I definitely did not shut it down?? Someone was mind fscking me..

Now I have witnessed it with my own eyes.. It just powered off (no shutdown, just off), and this after I'd made a post saying how reliable it was.

It will not turn back on now, but I wager it will in 30 mins, I think it's heat related.

Most likely L1 is doing this - hook up a terminal to the L1 port (on the motherboard near SCSI socket), at 38400n1 and observe output of command "env". L1 will also clearly print if any measure is outside of the limits.
Might be heat or an aging fan that stops spinning after a while...
