Hello Friends,

I just wonder if a 50 pin SCSI iomega Jaz drive could be used under IRIX.
Do you know if any IRIX driver exists for this drive?

I just happened to get one, and both the SCSI connection type and the form factor
tempt me to put it into an Indy. It would fit perfectly into the position of the floptical drive.

As long as the SCSI setup is correct, the Iomega Jaz won't need a driver for IRIX 6.5. - Mediad should auto-mount the drive and place a "Jaz" icon on your Desktop.

                tape, and DLT tape

       zip      Iomega Zip disk 

     Note that CDROM, dat, floppy, LS-120 and tape are sold and supported by
     SGI.  The rest (jaz, optical, syquest, zip) are not sold or supported by
     SGI.
