Came into work and found my Fuel unresponsive. Getting the following messages from the port on the motherboard:

Quote:

001a01 ATTN: 5V aux low fault limit reached 0.000V.

001a01 ATTN: brick auto power down in 30 seconds

001a01 ATTN: brick auto power down in 25 seconds

001a01 ATTN: brick auto power down in 20 seconds

001a01 ATTN: brick auto power down in 15 seconds

001a01 ATTN: brick auto power down in 10 seconds

001a01 ATTN: brick auto power down in 5 seconds

001a01 ATTN: brick is powering down now!

Does this look familiar to anyone?

Certain early hardware revisions of the Fuel are prone to a failure in the integrated circuit that does environmental monitoring. When this occurs the L1 auto powers down the Fuel in 30 seconds. If you wish to check to see if that might be your issue, you can disable environmental monitoring by executing "env off" at the L1 command prompt.

If that doesn't seem to work, you might look closely at the power supply, there have also been a number posts regarding the failure of some Fuel power supplies.

Thanks. Got an "env off" in quickly and it aborted the power down.

Glad to hear you got it working.

Too little to late in your case, but just in case the search leads anyone here, it isn't necessary to press the power button and start the Fuel in order to access the L1 controller. The L1 controller in the Fuel <and other IP35 systems> should be up and running any time power is connected - starting the system isn't necessary. So no need to rush to type "env off" before the defective environmental monitoring powers down the system 30 seconds.
