IBM T210 red colour halo or bleeding

Unread postby Dalplex » Tue Aug 29, 2017 11:22 am

I have two T210. One working, one dead.

I only managed seeing it at native 2048x1536 resolution under windows. Only Mac, it only display as 1600x1200.

I noticed that there is a very noticeable and annoying bleeding, normally at very dark area of colour image, as well as video. Some very fine dot or contour in red colour.

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

It always surprises me, how different cables affect the picture, especially when differing cables look very similar in quality. Worth a shot?

It does not change with cable.
Not too sure whether it is too good to show this bleeding than other inferior or other way around.

Sounds like dying backlights. What a shame, the T210 is pretty nice.
