Picked up a new end table today

Unread postby kshuff » Thu Sep 15, 2011 4:05 pm

Well actually it's an old end table, an IBM AS/400 model 9402 with a 3151 terminal. It IPL's to OS/400 but the guy I got it from hasn't had it running in 10 years and doesn't remember the account info or password :( Fortunately he has the original os media and software along with all the manuals for it, but has them stored away in a box somewhere. I don't know if there is a customer number, so how can I go about finding out what the machine is licensed to run? I assume I need a license if I need to re-install the OS. The serial number of the machine is 10-490DG.

Yeah, I suppose. My 7025-F80 is about the same size and just as black and mysterious looking.
