GCC-4.8.0 porting to Alpha-OSF and Mozilla/Firefox

Unread postby rosehillbob » Thu Nov 30, 2017 10:46 am

Well the title basically says it all. I need to know how much interest there is in Firefox builds later than 3.0. If I am to attempt the build I will need to update GCC to 4.80. Gcc stills support the ALPHA they just dropped off the configuration files for OSF...five required files and thirty optional files plus a whole bunch more if it is desired to support all languages. I need to know how much interest there is in both an new version of GCC and a new firefox.
