HP 712/60 Memory

Unread postby mrRadio » Thu Aug 18, 2016 10:49 am

Good day! I try to figure out with type of memory used in my hp 9000 712/60. Is it ecc on simm or simple ecc simm? I can able to use these memory sticks http://molotok.codemaster.ru/SIMM/72%20pin/IMG_0885.jpg. In official documentation says that machine support maximum 128 mb of ram with sticks less or equal 32 mb, it is really impossible to use 64 megs sticks and more than 128 mb in case.

According to HP, the maximum memory is 128 MB for the 712/60 and 712/80, and 192 MB for the 712/100. The highest capacity SIMM is the A2827A, which is a pair of 32 MB ECC SIMM. There is a 64 MB ECC SIMM for 725 Snakes: product A2875A. The 712, 715, and 725 use the same memory modules, but 64 MB SIMMs are not supported on the 712, according to HP.
