Thanks SMJ.....

I'm Ed Austin the author, Jim took over from me when I finished Uni and needed further hosting so it moved stateside...

I wrote it whilst I were a Postgrad at Liverpool Uni on an M.Sc. Computer Science (M.S. in US) back in 1994, time flies.

At the time in my Dorm room I had a VS2000 and a MV II in a BA23... the only Student with VAXen in my room. People sure thought I were a geek before it was cool to be one :)

One day I'll get back into VAXen for sure, although my mind nowadays is wandering towards a BA23 enclosed MicroPDP (impossible almost to find though).

The VAXstation 3100/76 was readily available - it's included in the pricelist above. I even think I have one in the other room.

Heck, I have two. They're not uncommon at all, even for VAXstas.
smit happens.
