So on my main O2, I have the video capture card, and I have ATT UVerse television and the receiver will output to compost video, but SGI's video in application only formats it as SD, and it's an HDTV cable box.
I have MPlayer compiling, and was wondering if I could use video input from MPlayer to watch my ATT cable on my SGI?
Probably a long-shot but figured I'd ask.

Total Longshot - watching TV on my O2

Re: Total Longshot - watching TV on my O2
If you got a couple of the red/white/yellow RCA outputs on the back of your HDTV box... I'm 99.99% sure they'll be carrying 'regular' SD signals. Just hook up some cables to the O2 and you're set.

The AV2 (4 BNC Connectors) will only accept SD.
But you could try one of these from your HDMI device...

I use these myself and they are good, but haven't tried them with the O2 as such. I'll see if I can get something to test it with tomorrow.
