Sorry that I am not helpful. I could compile by following directions in "how to compile mozilla" thread, but I only got loads of unresolved symbol in binary errors when I tried to run. I have no clue how I can build a working binary..

try -lpthread instead of lpthreads. The library is libpthread.so not libpthreads.so
