Hi recondas, that sounds good once I get some more displays in here, and thanks very much for the pointers. I can't actually find Multipipe though. I'm pretty sure I had a free supportfolio account from years and years ago, but I'll be damned if I can remember the login. :|

You're more than welcome.

The tardist for OpenGL Multipipe is/was freely available to anyone with a Supportfolio log-in. Hopefully it has survived Rackable's on-going purge of IRIX material.

Be a shame if it's gone, especially considering SGI open-sourced the OpenGL Mulltipipe code (now glamorously renamed by our open source friends as GLOMP). :D

If it is gone from Supportfolio perhaps Ian would consider including it in his Depot Resources page.

It used to be on the SGI "cool software" pages (can't find it on archive.org :( ). Which didn't even require a login. I faithfully downloaded all that stuff:

To accentuate the special identity of the IRIS 4D/70, Silicon Graphics' designers selected a new color palette. The machine's coating blends dark grey, raspberry and beige colors into a pleasing harmony. (IRIS 4D/70 Superworkstation Technical Report)

Oh come on... :|

Well good to know that folks in the community still have it. Is this perhaps something that admin could add to the FTP under /Graphics or /Drivers? There doesn't seem to be a way to sign up for the new customer portal unless you are a current sgi customer.
