The firewire board installed
is this one. It seems to work well enough, I was able to access the ATA disk in the no-name external firewire case that I use for my OS X Time Machine backup drive <semi-interesting, because that no-name case has an Initio chipset instead of the Oxford 911 mentioned in the Fuel hardware Aggregator>.
