Japanese drummers

Are Yamato or Kodo still active? Once upon a time, I heard the latter in a rather terrific concert.

BTW, can anyone on here tell me what "Kumo-nagaruru-hate" means?

Interesting; it looks like it's a movie about Japanese college student who were drafted into the ranks of the Kamikaze pilots toward the end of World War II:

Funny - that's actually the title of track 5 on "Yamato - The Wadaiko drummers of Japan Live in Amsterdam August 1999"…

Poking around a bit and it looks like it's a phrase that has fallen into the general lexicon/patios/vernacular ofJapanese, seems a bit funereal... :shock:
