Monitor calibration

Unread postby hamei » Sat Dec 21, 2013 8:21 pm

Well, it's related to graphics :P

Came across this while following Mr Canvan's Infinality remarks, it's pretty thorough and better than any other "adjust your monitor" pages I've seen ... I ran it fullscreen. Not bad. Has some extra tests relevant to LCD's, might even be useful in a purchasing scenario.

I've used this page to test monitors at the store. What it taught me is, don't buy monitors at the store (they seem to be all crap TN panels and I won't use anything less than IPS anymore).
smit happens.

That page worked fine for me, but when I opened System Preferences:Displays at the same time, it changed my screen resolution.
