'uptime' output for a box running for a long time

Unread postby pub_bronx » Wed Jul 19, 2006 3:42 am

Hello,
As the title says, could anybody who has her/his box running for more than one week, one month, and, if available, one year, copy/paste the output of the 'uptime' command ? For an application, I need to parse this output, and I'm afraid that the pattern hh:mm:ss (changing to hhhh:mm:ss) isn't followed.
Thanks in advance.

Wouldn't it be easier to just change the date on your machine to something in the future and read in the uptimes that way? :)

Here's mine after changing the year to 2012:

Code: Select all

[Ryouko:~] neko 6# uptime
  5:07am  up 2195 days, 12:14,  4 users,  load average: 1.01, 0.77, 0.38
