A Few Less Ugly PeeCee Cases, If You Were Forced To Use It

Unread postby GeneratriX » Tue May 17, 2005 8:16 pm

If you were forced any day to use some crappy PeeCee hardware to complement our beloved, stylished, and well designeds SGI(s), on any kind of office task that could not deserve the attention of an IRIX/MIPS jewell, then you could take a look on the links below, where some games related factory builds something not so ugly:

Black Hornets

Well; I must accept the fact that if you don't put nothing related with M$ inside, and arranged with good criterial, could make a decent system! ;)

Black Hornets cabinets are really nice, indeed!

My case- a junky sheet steel job from 2 years ago with ventilation holes cut in the side (by me). But it's what's inside that counts. I'll buy a new case *sometime*... I guess :)

yah, ATX is cursed with crappy airflow design. I'm looking forward to BTX, allegedly it'll include seperate thermal zones, hopefully in the form of different compartments for different components (ie, CPU in a different compartment than ram, stuff like that.

I rather take a SGI case and stick a PC in it.
or design my own cases, I have a couple ideas that I've seen from SGI, apple, and the other cases.

Pimp my SGI? I swear it looks like someone sent an O2 to a "Tuner Shop" to have it done up. Metalic paint and everything...
