Yeah, HP also make one, as do NEC. Problem is that they're very expensive, and 2560x1600 is only pretty average by today's standards. It's good that a few professional 16:10 screens are still made, I just wish someone would do a 30" 16:10 4k screen...

It would certainly be interesting to see what the second-hand prices on these units will be, when the industry starts unloading them!

Finally a manufacturer that aims to produce a good screen rather than a paper-thin one (take note Apple), just look at the thickness of that thing! :shock:

Got a reply from the author, I must have been thinking of his other great software product (for which there are IRIX versions available here), but he says

No, xmmix was designed to run on a platform with OSS (open sound system) audio interface. SGI Irix was not one of them.
