LOL. That incorrect Irish version seems to have appeared on a site somewhere at some stage and went viral. It now reappears all over the place every Christmas. Carlsberg even put it on their website one year.

Its perfectly obvious what is meant even when wrong. I just thought its funny how a mistake seems to propagate so much.
When used in the context of the sentence above, Nollag changes to Nollaig, so Nollaig shona duit (or the regional variation Nollaig shona dhuit is also used). I'm starting to remember why I hated learning Irish - every word in that second version has an added letter
