Nice article. First ever I see "Lightspeed C" mentionned somewhere ! My father taught me C in 1987 with that thing on a Mac SE. The 3D starfield splashscreen is what got me into this whole computing mess. Dammit ! :lol:

I've thought about trying to compile some of my classic Mac projects on later Intel Macs but the G5 just keeps on truckin'.

You've probably had your G5 for ages... I bet you are getting a terrific return on investment.

I bought it near the end of the PowerPC days in spring 2006 as a future investment. With its replaced LCS and CPUs, I expect another 10 years.
