The ViewSonic VP2290b is here! And I'm mad!
But I'll save the rant for the thread: http://forums.nekochan.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=16732018

Now I understand why some of us are so passionate about this display. It's indeed a beautifully engineered piece of equipment.

A puppy!

She's a Borador (Border Collie / Labrador cross), and we collect her from the farm next weekend. So looking forward to having a little companion in my man cave whilst I'm working :)

Looks like the she-lifeguard's saint mini black dog. She is a Bulgarian girl, but she wanted to call the dog "Napoleon"

I got a beagle last December. She's a sweetie :) I can't belive how long we went with no dog in our lives! (Sure, we have a rabbit, and a fish, but it's not the same :D

Yeah, dogs are awesome! My family had a border collie until a few years ago and I've always wanted my own dog at some point. When we were in a rented house with a carpeted hallway, plus we both worked full time out the house, it was out the question. However now, we've bought a house with lots of wooden floors, and I'm largely working from home - so it became feasible again.

Only issue is knowing we've bought a puppy, but we can't collect for a week (she's still a bit too young - only 7 weeks old in the picture above).

I hate dogs. Especially *HER* judas dog.

She, the lifeguard, defines her dog like a "saint dog". The truth is .. the dog is a judas! No matter how many times I have promised a lot of bones, every time I look at her/other girl around ... well, not the face, the mini dog barks

FSK mini dog, you are a spy!

Yesterday I read an interesting article: Chinese people eat dogs like we eat deers. Oh oh oh oh, interesting! Therefore when we were alone I showed to the mini dog a picture of a delicious dish, Polenta with deer, and I said - Those guys at the Chinese restaurant will be happy to meet for their dinner, so look here, judas, this will be your end if you do the spy against me - I showed the delicious dish, and the dog immediately put down its ears in a meaning of submission

Cute overload :D

We both work and that wouldn't be fair for a dog. So we have cats. These two we got as a pair, two males. The yellow one used to go outside, the B&W stayed indoors. That wasn't practical for us so we allowed both out. The moment we did that, the B&W fought constantly to become dominant. In the end we had them 'helped' and now they're totally mellow and gay

The computer room is strictly off limits for them.

Our cat isn't allowed in the server room either, but she is allowed in the office (since the laundry room she lives in adjoins it, there's really be no realistic way of keeping her out anyhow).
