I used to smoke for about 20 year (should have a category for this). I got sick of the smell, the thought of death, the rapidly shrinking number of places we were allowed to smoke in, and 2nd hand smoke around my new son. I still hate the smell.

Quitting was pretty easy; I used the 3-stage nicotine patch. I stayed on the first stage twice as long as I was supposed too because I was too stoned on nicotine to read the directions. *highly recommended*

I don't smoke, but I do sleep naked and sometimes drive my car without wearing shoes.

Haven't smoked since some time around mid-June.

No, I don't smoke. I failed the initiation test.

I have an old friend who loves high-end cigars, and I'll enjoy some scotch and a cigar with him when I see him, probably once or twice a year. Other than that, I don't smoke.

Started around 13, and the process of quitting ran from my early to mid-20s.

Couldn't even if I wanted to. Fiercely allergic to tobacco contact or direct inhalation. I was given a Clove cigarette once after being told there's no tobacco in them. Lie. Instant debilitating hayfever type attack.

I can't even kiss a girl who smokes without rocking a similar attack. Basically, were I to start a relationship with a smoker, she would _have_ to quit cold turkey. Hasn't happened yet. Must be one hell of an addiction.

It's just gross and really expensive anyway.

Wow. Well, I'm not allergic (not smoking either), I just think kissing a girl who smokes is a bit like licking an ashtray and I don't like that one bit. Smoking has always been an instant turn off in a girl for me.
Now this is a deep dark secret, so everybody keep it quiet :)

Nope I never did smoke. At least not in the sense of regular smoking.

Have to agree with you, j-j ... but guys are sort of odd. Licking an ashtray does sound disgusting but we're happy as clams to lick the toilet seat :D
