We are a bit OT now, but the Indian cosmogonic speculations are of course quite fascinating - and totally unrelated to Maya's. BTW, for Indians, check out Chapter 24/Part II - Dictionary of the numerical symbols of Indian civilisation - in Georges Ifrah's "The Universal History of Numbers". One of the most fascinating books I've ever read!

Yup, years ago I was some class of non stop reader for all those things... anyway, my actual days are a bit more prosaic compared to those good and old mystic times! :)
