Been awhile and it has been interesting year

Unread postby pinball_0 » Fri Dec 18, 2009 7:42 am

It has been awhile since I been here... I got distracted for my sgi's, and made new interests BUT I haven't abandon them. This past year of 2009 has really been interesting!

With the election of 2008, and the market crash... oh I got a chance to play the markets and even made money -thank you sgi stock. It was funny how I was able to make 600.00 in one hr off sgi before the sale to rack systems. I saw the stock sit still for the day, I watched after I sold and thought darn! I could have made 7,000 dollars in a day if I had held on.. but before the next day was over it was worthless. So I was happy to make $600.

I played GM and made money off them from Nov 11 2008 through Jan 2009... bought at 4. something a share and sold at 6.00 and of course for was 1.13 a share and rode that to 6.00 a share

in all my previous purchases on sgi's all paid me back and I made enough to get 2 porsches too :) woo woo --- NOT NEW ONES though

I got one 1985 -944 coupe and then a second one a 1990 944S2 cabriolet.

ebaying something fierce to "buy those necessities" to keep them running

thought I was in super finacial shape and gonna be reupped for another year of army duty, but my unit denied another extension so I
came off active duty army after 5 years of mobilization.

I did pull out with a MSM!! woo woo

I then attempted to sell off my monster origin2000 to get enough money to move home to iowa from virginia but nobody bit - (since then decided its cheaper to keep her.)

I got a civilian job at the same place I was doing army duty... though I now have a big pay cut (benefits of contractor vs regular army active duty benefits)

had to pack up all my toys... now in a holding pattern to see whats next

I Haven't been here awhile but I thought I'd send greets... :D

still reverse engineering stuff - but now it's car focused.

Any pics?

My friend had an S2 for a while. That thing was fast.

When was the last time the belts/pumps were done on them?
