I missed the action as I was asleep at the time, but a lot of spammers will comment on a post or two to gain a little "legitimacy" before unleashing the deluge. It's definitely the mark of a human spammer rather than a bot.

Yeah, one of these days I need to do something about the bots with my forums... I applaud you, Neko, for keeping up with all of the bb2 updates and mods to keep your forums clean...
