Re: Nekoware-current

Does FreeBSD still not support dynamically loaded libraries? Hmm, where did you get that idea? Sure it does, and i think it did so for ages :) [timo@blackbox ~ ]uname -a FreeBSD blackbox.kanera.local 7.0-BETA3 FreeBSD 7.0-BETA3 #14: Fri Nov 30 17:54:58 CET 2007 root@blackbox.kanera.local:/usr/obj/u...

Hey, Great!
I'll give that a try and rebuild neko_mplayer including your patch asap :)

Thanks!

Re: Nekoware-current

- Make it sence to import the Patches al Files so they could be downloaded? Having a plain text version of the patches would be a nice addition i think, but not mandatory. I see you already made them browsable, which is very nice :-) Quick access to patches was one thing i liked about the old SGI f...

Re: Anyone have any luck playing DVD's?

I had a few tutorial DVD's wich played fine, but I also tried Star Wars ( legal copy ) and the video was all scrambled and dropped frames all over the place. Hmm, the r14k-600 handles most DVD res/bitrate mpeg2 quite ok in my experience. Just make sure you use one of the OpenGL video output plugins...

Re: Nekoware QT4 Segfaults

Well, I recently reinstalled Irix on my O2. I then installed nekoware qt4 and it segfaults whenever I run a program. I read on the forums here that nekoware requres >.21 so I upgraded to .22 and now everything (nekoware) runs (it didn't before), but qt4 still segfaults. Things like qmake run fine, ...

the nekoware QT 3.3.5 package contains both non-threaded and threaded builds. I'm not aware of any issues with the threaded version so far.

Re: Enlightenment 17 MIPSpro help

Thats a gcc style variadic macro. MipsPro won't accept that. Converting it to a C99 style variadic macro should work though: #define e_error_message_show(...) \ { \ char __tmpbuf[4096]; \ \ snprintf(__tmpbuf, sizeof(__tmpbuf), __VA_ARGS__); \ e_error_message_show_internal(__tmpbuf); \ }

The freeware alpha14 version works.

Hmm, I just gave it a try with 6 different audio CDs - the CDDB queries worked great for all of them.

Did you check the CDDB server settings in xcdroast?

Re: Xcdroast - freeware version vs Nekochan version

Ok, new xcdroast and cdrtools (2.01.01a35) builds in nekoware beta now.

The former fixes the incompatibilities with the new mkisofs syntax, the latter fixes the CD identification problems mentioned above (caused by a broken cdda2wav).

Please let me know if everything works ok again now :-)

It seems the package really needs an update :(

indeed, I see there is a patch for that issue on the xcdroast website already. I'll update the package as soon as i find the time.

When I connect the same fans to the motherboard 90% of the time they don't spin...BUT every now and then they do for a short time and then stop. Hmm, thats not how its supposed to behave. The fan voltages are regulated dynamically (even if the env monitor is disabled) but they aren't supposed to st...

Re: Problem with my newly arrived Fuel

Well Fan 3 looks to be one of the two small fans that sit in the cage in front of the gfx card. Both of these are not spinning :( It might be a loose mainboard connector. The two XIO fans don't have separate connectors but share one larger 9 pin connector with the PCI fan (the third fan in the blue...
