Haha. I picked mine up on ebay " for 99 cents plus shipping on eBay about" three months ago and " I'm using it on my O2 right now". ;) Are you stalking me? j/k The only problem I have with it is that I can't get the \ to work correctly. Oh, it sees it and works when I set it up under other languages...

What drives are in this, out of curiosity?

And what is shipping to TX running or is that price quoted shipped?

Nice.

Definitely looks like it's designed for 3D work.

Kinda makes my Japanese sgi keyboard look overly complex.

Interesting. I have the 1600sw option but do not have a 1600sw to try that with.

I would think that if it's a solution on the 1600sw then it should just do it natively according to build of OS (I assume).

I have a 24" sgi monitor but no 16:10 love when using the O2.

I've noticed a few of the O2's here have 16:10 video outputs. Am I missing something somewhere to adjust my O2's output to fit my 16:10 monitor?

Yeah, after sleeping last night, I woke up to find the clarity of vision a bit better.

Blame it on having to remove one of the techs last week and my having to jump into a tech support role for a few days.

After a while, everything just looks wrong. :(

ShadeOfBlue states: Since SGI's CPUs (at least the newer ones [R4K and up]) have 32 integer and 32 floating-point registers it would be better to modify the code to use those. Crappy x86 processors have much less registers, so people don't use them [the registers, not processors (sadly)], they rathe...

Maybe it's time for a WindowsXP like feature that collapses icons of multiple instances of one and the same program into one icon, and when you click on it you can pick the one you want from a list that pops up? Please, please, please, please , don't allow that to happen. Or at least allow one the ...

Here's a thread I started on it a while back. I've been searching around for inexpensive ones (read <$1800 here) and haven't found any.

If anyone can find a place that has them inexpensively, let us know.

He has many systems but from chicago-joe's post, it appears he has quite a few 2100s. A while back, I saw one on ebay and noticed a familiar name from chicago. I sent a message but accidentally sent the message to Brian (the seller) instead of the chicago denizen (the buyer). In that exchange, we've...

akimmet states: And you will usually be safe doing this until something happens, like a power outage or some other error that interups this process and the drive will be ruined. Unless you want to spend $$$$ to have the drive's internal servoing data and firmware re-written. Are you suggesting I don...

I've probably formatted using fx about 5 times in the last few months. I keep getting newer drives and reinstalling. No problems whatsoever.

Yeah, it might be a lot easier to just get an external drive. I'm hard-headed like that.
