How long have you let it sit there on 12%? I've seen it happen that more than a few times W2K loads up and gets to the driver.cab and just has a rough time getting through it. Remove at least one proc while you're doing this. You can re-enable the second proc later. Check your memory, as well.

Lucky her, Hakimoto.

I had issues with the compile of gentoo on my laptop. I ended up putting Mandrake on it instead.

If you look at my avatar, you will notice that it is a green O2. I actually have that green monster being built at the moment. The skins are painted with a can of spray paint designed for plastic. My better half wanted the green and black scheme as it looked Frankenstein-ish and hence the name Frank...

I've actually been pondering installing Be r5 lately. I miss futzing with it. It was really a fun OS to work with. Gobe Productive is still my favorite office suite. Also, SoundPlayer was just awesome. I loved playing CDs backwards with multiple songs from the same CD to freak people out with. And I...

If you're going the HTML route, I have an app that is good to learn on. It's called TopStyle and is actually a CSS editor. So once you pick up on the HTML then you can go right into CSS without any hassles because you've already got the editor. Now mind you. You don't need an editor like this one fo...

It's away. The avatar is part of a boot logo on a machine I'm in the process of working on at the moment. I actually have it strung apart (running) on the floor right now. Hope this file works out. Let me know if it's not and we'll do something else. BTW: Here's a full screenshot of the boot logo if...

I've looked through the GUI'd man pages and found nothing of use for keyboard shortcuts. Perhaps I've overlooked something. On the right-click thing: That's the problem. I want keyboard shortcuts that can cycle through apps without having to move my mouse. I want keyboard shortcuts that can pick a d...

Not sure if this will help or not but XSI has reduced the pricing on their packages drastically. The old baseline price was about $2000 and now it's down to ~$500, IIRC.

I don't use XSI so can't speak about its merits.

I've never been a fan of MAX.

Anyone want to buy my license (r3)? :P

I believe it was out on BeOS before those management types decided to take the company for a little dirt nap. Steinberg also had another fully developed app that never saw the light of day either for BeOS. :( Maybe the two are the same. It's been years since I saw this app and I've slept too much si...

Excellent! Just downloaded it.

I'll toy with it a bit later. Looks like I will be working 7 days/week for the next two months so I may not have much time to play with it, though.

Glad it's shaping up. Keep at it, Diego.

Keyboard shortcuts. Post them all here, please.

Ok, it's finally getting annoying. I've tried to be very patient with the lack of shortcuts (or maybe it's just my lack of knowledge of them), but I'm getting quite perturbed over the lack of shortcuts for simple things. I can't even find documentation on changing desktops via a keyboard. I can't ch...
