sounds like a nidec PSU to me.

the PSU is easy to replace on an indy. try that first if you have a spare...

it's too bad the source isn't available for Quanta Gold. being just QT and not kde, it would be easier to port :)

well, i don't know about having the older one as the main card, but i have SE+SI and it's quite happy.

so combining old and new seems ok, but someone else might be able to tell you if you need the SE in the main slot, as it were.

actually... if you try to click it, 13, 14 and 15 are 404.

also, mirror.aarnet is au only.

i really must bug jason to fix that (if he s still their aadmin.. dunno)

if i am understanding this properly you are having problems unpacking the tar.bz2 ? if you don't have the GNU tar you'll have to do it in a pipe and two commands (cd /usr/local) bunzip2 -c firefox.blah.blah.tar.bz2 | tar xfv - of course if you do have GNU tar, you can do gtar jxfv firefox.blah.blah....
