You can stop it trying to netboot by sending a break via the console. How to do this depends on which console program you are using. Using minicom I think it is Ctrl-A F, not sure on other programs. Man and google should be able to help you out there. Then you should be able to just go 'boot cdrom' ...

I've got a stack of 8 Indy's sitting right next to me at the moment. They all work, a couple of busted power supplies but when connected to a working power supply they boot. You are more than welcome to some parts or even a couple of full ones. Unfortunately no R5000 cpu's, though there are a few 18...

But I am presented with no options, probably means the HD is dead or at least the install on it. Now for the bad news, the OS9 cds I have came with my PowerBook and unfortunately are complet...

Ok seems I am a little slow today. There was a black cord plugged into the iMac and another one plugged into the power they just happened to be different cords. So I tried to boot the machine and after a lot of clunking from the HD I am greeted by a Folder icon with the Finder face inside it....

Dead iMac

So I was walking home from Uni today and what did I see on the side of the road but an Indigo iMac. So being the hoarder that I am I lugged the little fellow home to see if it would work. From googling it looks like it is an Indigo iMac 350Mhz, 64MB RAM, 24x CD etc. So I after looking it over and tr...
