Re: Octane2, 2x600MHz, 2GB, VPro V8

For a similar solution like keeping hard drives and media all inside an external box I ended buying a Tower. It's very expensive, and hard to find in mint condition (and with all the cables and terminators), but it worth the effort.

wtb: CPLD XC95108 chips, 5V core, PLCC package

so, these days those chips are out of production. Farnel only offers the XL version but they don't have the PLCC package. XL chips are 3.3V core, 5V IO tolerant, and pin-to-pin compatible with the old 9500 line. It's written in the datasheet, XC9572 and XC95108 are guaranteed to be be pin-to-pin com...

How many Kg in 1lbs? Why don't you use the standard metric?
We, in Europe, have to take the calculator to have the answer :D

Still looking for this machine.
It's the only one which makes sense to have for me.

( in agreement , I believe /etc/hostname will be "theOne" )

I simply see a slow PPC603 attached to a motherboard with a few integrated circuits.
Nothing special.

Signal-Boost (I want to promote Marisha Ray)

No matter what she talks about, Marisha Ray is definitively my kind.
And! No doubt crazy, but Signal-Boost episodes are definitively too funny :D

They are all available online.

PPC-603? 604? Completely useless machine! Less useful than a brick to stop the door.
What I think? What I can actually do with my money, instead of buying those futile computer vintage stuff.

I seen absolutely no reason why there should be so much animosity between members on this forum, we all share a common interest! ah, well, we have a daily talk about plastics, but when people promise documentation, or a talk about technical stuff ... and it will never happen (at least in public) wi...

wtb: Motorola AN1015 MC68020 Minimum System Configuration 1989 (paper copy)

looking for a paper copy of an old application note made by motorola in 1989: AN1015
It describes MC68020 in minimum system configuration.

I know there are scanned copies around on internet, but i'd like to have the original.

Thanks :D

If you heat water to 100 degrees, it boils.
And if the sea is stormy, the waves are high.
And If I won the lottery, I would buy a car.

And If you make a mistake, someone will let you know.
(isn't what you were looking for, asking for an opinion?)

I am painting a small boat.
The hull needed some re-work.
We can't catch a Swordfish, btw.

Too small board, and no equipment.
