If I were making my own project I could care less about GNU/Linux picking it up - as far as I'm concerned all the GNU/Linux projects are worthless dreck and I don't want to affiliate with any of them. The BSDs picking my stuff up is nice but not a requirement - I've considered just ISC licencing it ...

The MPL is a decent licence. I like it, but I'll just have to see how I feel when I release something worthy. I'm going to have to see if my licence I constructed is direct enough to not be vague.

Thanks for the help ShaderofBlue, lets hope that that ABI is added because deprecating GCC being a goal is one reason I moved to BSD for all non IRIX boxes.
