SGI F190 Monitor SoG

Hi, Does anyone have experience with F190 monitor with an analogue video out (SoG) workstation (13w3). I have tested the monitor with an Indy ZX as well as an Octane with SI+TRAM. Both workstations work fine with a 19'' DELL LCD monitor I have. By the way this monitor has not been included in the Oc...

Re: V8 even on safe pixel clock does not behave as expected

Hi again! Then test it - that's the second variable you've changed (first was the FP1 board). Ok Guys, I have tested V8 of svizi in my Octane at 1600x1200@75Hz and it seams to work OK with Maya, though I get garbled gui but with a refresh everything is ok - I think, please correct me if I am wrong ...

Re: IFF: Recovering old frames from newly created framestore

Hi Pawel, I'll describe what I have done and then you can judge if it applies to your occasion. I had Flame 9.0 installation and at some point I decided to do a new Irix + flame installation actually it was Flame 9.5. Then I used sw_config to create the framestore with the same disk layout. Off cour...

Re: Edge Loop Tool for Maya 6.5?

Hello Fellow Artists, This is really a very nice tool. But it is a lillte bit anoying having to run the source command every time you startup Maya. So, the solution to this problem is: Create a text file in the Maya/x.x/scripts directory and name it userSetup.mel and write in this file the following...

Re: Indigo2 R4400, 250MHz, 256MB, MAX Impact

Hello Gyus, I was wondering if it really makes sense of upgrading this Indigo2 from R4400 to R10000. Apart from the fact that I could run MIPS4 applications, would I get any better performace, would it be more responsive? I am working with Maya and Media Illusion/Matador. Your thoughts will be much a...

Is it me, quite possible I will add, or did Rackable limit the available downloads on the Supportfolio site by year. I am trying to find the latest 320VWS graphics driver and SDK but they seem to have added a calendar year and month limit to the search. I can only go back to 2008 which yields nothi...
