have a microsoft lecture here at uni in a out 20 mins so i will bring that up :P but i think its just sad and no unix admin worth his customised shell prompt is going to be swayed by that :P

noticed something strange with all this, when i run from a link the toolchest then i get the weirdness but if i run it from within xterm its fine.

is this something todo with xterm passing congif info to aterm?

quite right but the reason it is not running as fast might be down to compiler optimisations etc... lots of reasons why it is running slower.

first thing to try is to boot and press esc at boot so you are taken to the prom then go to the command monitor and type "single" this will take you to single user mode which and then try to edit the file if it goes to a shell prompt or if you have the irix disks you can boot from the installation t...

320 pricing

My university is shedding its 320 workstations and i am "negotiating" getting hold of one but i am not sure exactly what would be a good price i was going to offer about £100 / $150 / E 170 (my best guess at exchange rates) They all come with flat screen and all the original software etc... any idea...
