I just bought one of their cables that was specifically for the Indigo2. I'm not about to spend time on that. My hack value comes from other things.

Is this seller on ebay trying to BS or is this true?

They say it isn't wired to connect to a monitor. Do they mean the simple fact it's an F on the HD15 side or something else? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=41993&item=6778365226&rd=1 Would I be able to hook this up to one of my many HD15M to HD15M cables to get my ...

What did you pay for them? I'd say they'd fetch $50-$100/ea on ebay. Particularly good for those adventurous enough to cram a 5500 motheboard into a tiny Color Classic then stick in a G3 upgrade. apple-history.com is a great site that will tell you the factory specs on all the apple models. TOm I f...

Just got 3 powermac 4400/200 systems with Sonnet G3 upgrades

I was shopping at the local secondhand store and found three powermacs that said Powered By Sonnet on the front. I looked inside and saw a purple heatsink on a module in the cache slot. I knew it had to be aftermarket. I pulled all three and found they were Sonnet G3 CPU upgrade modules. All three h...

Too bad you aren't willing to homebrew. An Asus NCCH-DL with a pair of 2.4GHz Xeon LV chips and heatpipe coolers and a Seasonic SS or S12 PSU would be an excellent choice. Addendum: A 3ware Escalade 9000 series SATA RAID5 card in one of the pci64/66 slots, a GeForce FX 6600LE softmodded with RivaTun...

big antistat bag for onyx quad CPU bd and 13W3 to SVGA cable

I need a big antistatic bag for the quad CPU board I'm sending to sgizone. I also need a cable to connect the Indigo2 he's sending me to one of my PC monitors. My Dell panel has a an HD-15 female connector on back while my other monitors have the attached cable with the male HD-15. I also need somet...

Houston Instrument DMP-61 plotter

It's not an SGI product or SGI related other than being a CAD design tool. I'm really not sure where I could go to post this thing, but it's taking up space. Anybody know of a CAD forum I could post this at? It works and will emulate plotters that are supported under current software versions. Works...

Quad R10000 @ 200MHz CPU board for Onyx

I was going to build a powerhouse of an Onyx system but I don't have the time any more. The board has been in my possession for over a year now and hasn't been fired up since. It's a shame to be sitting on this much power when there's an empty CPU board slot in someone's onyx rack that needs filling...
