HP-UX 11.00 Packages

a humble selection but since packages for 11.00 are rather rare i figured i could just as well share my small archive. all are built on 11.00 with the native compilers unless noted otherwise. 32bit pa-risc 1.1 som files, optimized as hell, reasonable feature selection ... the usual :P ⋅ ap...

linked against the current neko openssl 1.0.2. also comes with a slightly modified logging because the original one was broken (everything cut off after 32 chars).
a great way to get up to date ssl communications to and from the outside :-)

the minimum irix version for houdini 1.0 was 5.3.

Yeah, even between 2013 and 2016 many of the tutorials left online became very version specific. Node names where changed or old nodes removed and replaced with new methodology.

houdini for irix tutorials can be tricky because during their lifespan on irix the houdini versions changed a lot. so any tutorial would be quite version specific.

it's a good idea tho to stick to the system tar for important things. otherwise you risk compatibility

well hpux has always been my "second in command" after irix. and the compilers didn't give me more or less trouble than other proprietary ones.

2 ways to extract a tgz:

gzip -dv your.tgz
tar -xvf your.tar


or in one go:

from the little i could gather i think it still is part of the partner program. they just don't advertise it on the website anymore.
