Re: nekosync-1.2

nekosync-1.2r25 is now live from its new home at https://github.com/srcshelton/nekosync/ The only changes in this version are to update the list of mirrors with ones which are still active, and to update the history-file location to point to github itself, rather than a domain that DynDNS killed whe...

Re: Prefix-portage from Gentoo on IRIX

I noticed a lot of links to your site are 404'd, stuart. Are you still working on this? dyndns.org changed their policies so that wildcards are disabled on free accounts... the same data should be available from http://irix-tools.homeunix.net/files/ - but since I moved on from my previous job I've ...

Re: FS: 600MHz Fuel & chassis [Cambridge, UK - Collect only]

When do you want to get rid of this? The skin would look nice in my living room. I probably won't be in Cambridge till September though. If no-one else collects it beforehand, I'm sure I could hang on to the chassis until September. I can't really imagine how it'd fit into anyone's living room, tho...

FS: 2x400MHz, 2x600MHz Octane [Cambridge, UK - Collect only]

I've now left my old job and have a new one lined-up, but I really do need to make space by cutting down my SGI collection. I'm going to offer what I have here, then I'm off on holiday soon, and then anything left goes on eBay. I'll offer shipping on eBay but right now it's collection-only from Camb...

Re: Prefix-portage from Gentoo on IRIX

I try to install portage but, after creating account, folders and unpack mipspro-wrapper, I have: * Fetching prefix-overlay-20100323.tar.bz2 http://prefix.gentooexperimental.org/distfiles/prefix-overlay-20100323.tar.bz2: Non-recoverable failure in name resolution ftp> Hmm - it looks as if the boots...

Re: _POSIX_C_SOURCE=200112 and timeval?

-D_BSD_TIME doesn't help, but with -D_BSD_COMPAT the above example does compile... how about ffmpeg? ;)

Does defining _BSD_TIME or _BSD_COMPAT help at all?

Re: tutorial: Installing Gentoo on Octane from Arch server

You might also want to consider installing Gentoo's prefix-portage tree on top of IRIX - thereby using the IRIX-native system tools and IRIX kernel, but with a GNU user-space. You will still be using Xsgi, which is by now lacking some more modern X extensions, but you can either run modern applicati...

Re: ** nekoware broken packages ** - Maintainers needed!

How do get you that libpixman-1.so.1 linkage ? On my build system I have > ldd /usr/nekoware/bin/pidgin | grep pixman libpixman.so.1 => /usr/nekoware/lib/libpixman.so.1 > ldd /usr/nekoware/bin/gtk-chtheme | grep pixman libpixman.so.1 => /usr/nekoware/lib/libpixman.so.1 I don't even have a libpixman...

Re: Nekoware-current

Just a quick note - the new pango-1.26.0 package in beta is still labeled 'pango-1.12.4 GTK2 Core and Text Font Handling'
