Do you know how expensive would be shipping to the Czech Republic? And is 260 EUR acceptable for you?

Re: DOSBox performance

The first post mentions core=simple which is not fast... Does the dynamic core work on non-x86 systems or is it for x86 only? The "auto" and the "full" are not available. Just the "simple", the "normal" and the "auto" ones. And there is no noticeabe...

Re: PPP daemon on IRIX?

IRIX even provides a GUI for setting up PPP (both incoming and outgoing connections). Launch "System Manager",.... Thank yout for the tip! There is a problem that the GUI does not allow to set up the direct serial connection (without the modem). So I have started to study the Techpubs doc...

Re: your latest purchase

Nice, makes an extra small serial terminal for occasional operations. :) Many years ago I used Pocketerm on my Palm M105 for a while, e.g. to follow the boot process of my Enterprise 3500 or to access some Cisco switches, etc.. The Agenda is too precious to be frequently used. I have a bunch of Pal...

PPP daemon on IRIX?

Hi all, Can please someone advice me where I can find the PPP daemon (pppd) for IRIX? Which subsystem I have to install? I wish to connect the Agenda VR3 PDA to my SGI desktop and the VR3 uses the PPP for connection via serial port. On the other systems (Linux, BSD ones) there is need to start the p...

Re: your latest purchase

The Agenda VR3 Developer edition. It's a PDA with the MIPS-compatible CPU. It runs Linux and the actual X11 (the XFree86). It's the one on the left.

Thank you very much! It works perfectly. The "gr_top" say that the mpg123 uses between 71%-94% cpu but the sound is great.

I have been searching of one for a few years. There were 2 Freerunners at the same time on the eBay. So I have got the cheaper one (about $40).

Re: your latest purchase

Second-hand Openmoko Freerunner phone. I had one in the past but I have converted it to the gta04 phone http://gta04.org (but this one is broken now).

So I got another one to have something to play with.
