[sale/trade] 16 port KVM with IP

Hi I have a working 16 port Lindy P16-IP with 5 cable harnesses (VGA+PS/2) and the console cables (VGA+PS/2). Reset to factory default (no surprises with missing passwords) Tested working both with the console and over IP. You can see the manual here: http://www.lindy.co.uk/lindyshop/manuals/32532_v...

Re: Happy Holidays

Very happy indeed!
Santa (and Neko) ensured Nekochan and the forum were still online even if it was more than 4 years that I was not seriously powering on my Octane.
Helped my memory big time: cloning the book disk to ensure I have a safeguard should the 10 years-old drive decides to die.

Octane 1 2x360 1GB ram V6

Issue traking system

Hi all,
I was looking for scarab on Irix, but it seems that is not ported.
Anyone has suggestions for a bug/issue tracking system that works on Irix and integrates with subversion?

Thanks
Marco

I see. I knew that Linux was going to be way easier, but I hoped irix was not out of reach. Given that the company is 99% going to use Linux anyway in production using it in testbed is, clearly, the preferred way to go. Putting the Octane to sleep again is too bad, I've just bought a dual cpu module...

With Perl modules it's pretty much a necessity to have a local compiler and some comfort with CPAN. Either that or a very patient packager who's willing to bundle up a ton of extensions :) Do I need a local compiler like MIPSPro? Or GCC? Or something different? I'd love to daily use my Irix machine...

Problem installing nedi

After installing eGroupware on my Octane it's now time for Nedi It's a tool for network management: http://www.nedi.ch/doku.php But it seems to have a lot of prerequisites in terms of modules for perl (not well documented, likely cause on other platforms there are jumbo setups that install everythin...

Thanks for the restoring indications. The chassis is in a condition that can be defined "for darkroom", not simply a bit scratched. It miss the cdrom door and the metal sheet was cut to make room for the R10k as it was originally an R5k. What is most important is that i want to sell/trade ...

As a target I have an intranet, so older release is not a problem. I plan to have external access trough a vpn tunnel in any case, so no need to expose potential insecurities. For the xcache is no a problem as I use the irix machine only for test. It seems that the faster disk is helping. Soon I'll ...

I'm getting lost... this Xcache thing in what package is?
Is the beta of PHP5 stuff stable enough to rely on it?

Thanks

A relevant point is tat I also have an R12K250, 640MB, 18GB 15Krpm, AV with a nice skin tha I use rarely.
The second O2 is really overkill for me.

I downloaded updated nekoware just 2 days ago. Apparently most recent php5 is 5.1.5 while extensions are 5.1.1 (as per swmgr) Everything is (seemingly) working fine once I've figured out the php*.ini thing. If I only had a bit more CPU power. Or maybe I can move the eGroupware on the 10krpm disk and...

[FS/FT] O2 In Italy

I have an O2 R10K195, 224MB, 18GB 10krpm (w/o sled), cdrom and audio for sale or trade. Perfectly working but in very bad aestetic condition: you've got to place it under the desk ;) Pickup preferred (so it's possible to check personally that it works as described) I do also have two HPUX machines f...

Solved... egroupware up&running

Solved previous problems with php. Everything seems to work fine now. Main problems: 1) mysql 5 with apache 2 interoperability, solved simply using mysql 4 2) noticing that commandline and apache called php ini files have different names: need to edit php-apache2handler.ini 3) timezone configuration...

The indication helped me greatly.
Thanks.

P.S: if anyone is interested I can provide a brief report of using egroupware running on irix (if I'm able to make it work i mean)
