SGI 19" monitor for sale: $30 - Bay Area (on the Peninsula)

I have an SGI 19" semi-flat (only curved in one direction) monitor for sale. The snap that holds the front door up is broken, but I still have it and it can be successfully put back in place using superglue (I just figured it would be best done by the next owner after transport). Pictures of bo...

Re: Octane 2 (complete unit), Memory, CPU, board, and Indy

Currently, it looks like everything is spoken for except the Indy.

I will update this thread if anything changes.

Thanks,

Octane 2 (complete unit), Memory, CPU, board, and Indy

Here is what I have for sale: Octane 2 with 1.5GB ram (or 2GB, don't remember), with 18GB clear system disk (no Irix install), V6 and 360MHz processor: I don't really want to ship it since it is such a pain, so $50 for the unit plus shipping, but you get a $15 discount if you pick it up. Comes with ...

Re: Blender Development - Anyone interested in helping?

I am currently using the latest version of MIPSpro; and usually it is not too much work now that I have it set up. The hard part is when they change programing that is specific to GCC. It just ends up being a lot of communication with the Blender group to get programming updated to something more co...

Blender Development - Anyone interested in helping?

Hey all, I have been very busy as of late and I am no longer able to devote the time that it takes to compile Blender for IRIX. I would be sad to drop it all together, but in order to continue I need some help. I am happy to host the system and provide support (and I can still be the main "poin...

Re: Blender Irix Development

Only thing that came to my mind that some .svn directories are included (e.g. blender-2.45-irix-6.5-mips/.blender/scripts/.svn and others). Yeah, the .svn directories seem to be present in all releases (it was the "make release" command that I used); not sure why, but nothing to worry abo...

Re: Blender Irix Development

Well I ended up solving the problem (more circumvent it) by following the information in this link: http://www.risc.uni-linz.ac.at/education/courses/ws2003/intropar/origin-new/CC_PG/sgi_html/ch04.html I just used -no_prelink -ptused, and everything else fell in place. I will put an update once 2.45 ...

No more Irix Blender...

I hate to be the sensationalist, but if I cannot get help to solve the problem that has been described here: http://forums.nekochan.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11942&start=75 than more than likely, there will be no more Irix Blender, which really sucks. After having using Blender on my Windows ...

Instatiation Loop Error

Well, I am trying to get the next version of Blender out and I am coming across an instatiation loop error when I am compiling and I cannot figure out how to get rid of it. I already posted the main points of it here: http://forums.nekochan.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11942&start=75 But, since ...

Re: Blender Irix Development

Yeah, I already found those articles, thanks though.

I am running MipsPro 7.4.4 (I think, whatever the latest is), with all the current patches, and I am not using -Ofast or even -O3 (although I might try both to see if it changes how the problem pops up.)
