Oh O2000, not O200. Sorry for the fuzz.

Various O200/O2 CPU and Memory/Indy memory

Re: WTT: My 300MHz O2K node boards for 2x195MHz ones

I think I have a dual core R10k/195Mhz board laying around.
Could you tell me how I can be sure, the numbers on the board (30-1235-001 REV A) does not return anything useful.

Update: Oh it turns out to be 180Mhz

The easiest way to reduce the texture size is to rename Textures.high in the root of the base package. Only the low resolution versions of the texture will be used then.

In fact, when alut is built as a separate library it's by default freealut.
The original alut version was built into the OpenAL library itself.

I think this would be the correct function for that:

jsuword JS_ARENA_ALIGN(JSArenaPool *pool, JSArena *n)
{
return (((jsuword)(n) + (pool)->mask) & ~(pool)->mask);
}

It would be nice to see the difference of the JS_ARENA_ALIGN macro between the two versions also.

Line 71 of jsarena.c looks fishy to me in this regard:
JS_ARENA_ALIGN(pool, &pool->first + 1);

You might want to convert the JS_ARENA_ALIGN macro into a function to see if this solves the problem.

At the risk of saying complete nonsense, there is a glitch between the MIPSpro compiler suite and other compilers in that it uses reverse order for macros that work twice on the same variable. To check against this one could change the macro into a function and see whether that fixes the problem. Fo...

@skybound: thanks, but 1) Would you explain what a STL is and how to fix the headers a bit more. You know, the talk-to-me-like-I'm-a-2-year-old version. STL is a way in C++ to do some basic stuff in a predefined way. It includes helper classes to handle strings and vectors and such: http://www.msoe...

It might be interesting to know that I have compiled a set of STL compatibility headers for MIPSpro 7.4 that I have been using for FlightGear for ages. Just store them somewhere and add a reference to CXXFLAGS http://www.ehofman.com/irix/C++compatibility.tar.gz Actually I have them for earlier versi...

I've done all my 3d work for FlightGear on my O2. You can find a few here: http://www.ehofman.com/fgfs/gallery.html You have to keep in mind that these are not high level of detail models since they need to work properly in a real time environment. Oh, another thing; The models have improved since t...

I do, provided that Indy memory fits the Indigo2.

FlightGear contains older 2d-clouds code (just a textured layer of quads) and 3d clouds that uses pbuffers and imposters et all.

--disable-clouds only disables 2d clouds
--disable-clouds3d disables the 3d clouds
