Never seen this thread.... and it tooks some time to find that tiny donate button but than it was quite simple :) Pete take it as thx for the good old time and for forwarding a dozen ebay parcels with SGI stuff i werent able to buy without your help :)

My machine is down because of power consumtion. But i was able to compile it from the sources a long time ago... so you be able to do the same.

The patch version which ships with stock IRIX doesnt have support for binary patching.

You need a Shoebox first and the next step is to get the right GbE PCI-X card and hack the PCIID into the driver.

My O3400 showing the same problem since 2 days. I lost 2 cBricks in the last 2 years and now the iBrick going to die. Looks the end of my SGI/MIPS time is comming.....

I have a lot of these cables around because most of our UPS 3000 ships with the same type. We also bought a dozen 5m cables for less than 10,- per piece a while ago. So here in germany its an easy find.
