On a train to Oxford yesterday, I passed SGI's UK HQ in reading (Completely surrounded by 4 Oracle buildings) - Their car park was half empty, and the lights were out on the top 1/3 of floors. "Probably a matter of time before the SGI building gets taken over by Oracle." I thought to mysel...

I keep / and /usr/people split as a point of superstition - I keep personal data and sytem data seperate. How I split the 9Gb disk I can't remember, as the Octane's 100 miles away, but I think it's half and half, or 4gb/5gb.
