I use hyperterminal on an old win95 machine to terminal into my IR and it works fine... have you managed to source a kb? my 15" 1.67SD powerbook does that too... instead of sleeping, it hibernates... not the end of the world, but thats 20 seconds of my life wasted as it wakes up! lol!!! Maybe fiddling with these settings will help? now thats a good find!! well mine was set to mode 3 :) and now its back to mode 0...

Multilink issue...

Ive just aquired a second SW and multilink, but the multilink appears to be buggered...

when you plug the power in there is no activity from the multilink, but the power LED on the psu flickers... exactly the same result with a second good psu...

:) yearly thread bump! lol!! any joys in finding the battery?? time isnt somuch of an issue, but the default boot is to disable the GFX :roll: so requres a terminal and a reboot to play with... checked the back pf the system controller, but nothing... its purely a display and buttons... cable throug...

:D thread reserrection time! just felt the need to share, posting from my newish Powerbook G4 1.67ghz 15" dual layer :) what a lovely machine, now with added 7200rpm drive and 2gb ram goodness :D i cant belive i bought a secondhand laptop for the same amount that a nice spec new winblows machin...
