IRIX patches

Hi there,

Are IRIX patches locked to what sort of account you have on SGIs Supportfolio site ? Are some locked out because they add extra features which SGI want money for ?

And is Supportfolio the only way to download the patches from SGI ?

Thanks

My wife is going to kill me!

I accidentally won an auction for an Onyx 3200! Didn't think it would go for the little bid I put on.

Any ideas on how to smuggle a 42U rack into the house ?

Re: Odd choice of fonts in a new install

Nope didn;t work :-(

It seems to to be something like a default font ... when I installed "GIMP" it too had HUGE fonts for all the menu items :-(

I've done something wrong I'm sure of it, just don't know what!

Odd choice of fonts in a new install

Hi there, For reasons known only to itself IRIX has decided that I am sight impaired, the default font is huge! Only does it on apps like System Manager where you look at the page about your system. I just did a clean install on my Fuel, no idea what I did different to make it like that. Can anyone ...

How do they prove he's not just made it up ? You know have the first few billion numbers worked out properly then just randomly generate the rest to pad it out ?

ooohhh!!! I didn't notice it wasn't a normal 68way connector on the motherboard! Well it just goes to show the stupid arse ideas some companies have! :-)

So basically if you lose the original cable you are stuffed .. wonderful .. well I'll have to take care of mine then.

Re: What flight simulator software is this?

Yep, that's the A10 demo. I haven't tried them in a while but I could only get about half of the Octane2 demos to work. Still like to get my hands on an Onyx2 Demo CD. On a side note, I did pick up an obscenely cheap GE16-4, which looks like it will allow me to run 8 monitors. I've got a few SOG LC...
