My bad - dejagnu is still in beta, not in current. The point still stands though, expect in beta is too old to satisfy dejagnu Ah now expect , that's in /current ;) Ok. I think we reached just the level of confusion that when new expect from incoming hits beta, the world will inevitably collapse in...

Oh, right. The point still stands though, expect in beta is too old to satisfy dejagnu, probably because of some hiccup between my fingers and nekoware ftp
Also, neko_dejagnu.sw.lib depends on neko_expect.sw.eoe , which is present, but which must be a different version: even with both fully selected, there's still a conflict. Strange. I probably did a fix in "expect" package, reflected this in dejagnu, but somehow failed to upload new expect...
Guys, neko_Squeak package ver. 2 was just sent to incoming: MD5 (neko_Squeak-3.9.8.tardist) = 7c7e77474d56995fd59610001de1b4ec Dependencies, descriptions, and other metainfo got fixed. On side of code, I fixed the compilation of inlines, which improves the Squeak performance by about 10%.

I've hit similar problem roughly a week ago. Turned out I had two versions of perl installed, a new that was complete, and old, where only library component was installed. /usr/nekoware/lib/libperl.so (or something similar) was a symlink, and pointed still to the old perl library. So even though the...
LOL, i build the same software for nekoware a few hours ago because a friend of mine need it for building gcc 4.x. Heh, same here, but the person building gcc was me :) Last time I built mpfr locally just for gcc, but I did whole-tree rebuild now, and thought heck, why not do a proper package :) Th...
I just uploaded neko_mpfr-2.2.1.tardist to incoming. The MPFR library is a C library for multiple-precision floating-point computations with correct rounding. MPFR is based on the GMP multiple-precision library (which already is packaged for nekoware). MD5 (neko_mpfr-2.2.1.tardist) = ce3fc6d...

Uploaded version with fixed up dependencies, namely removed dependency on expect. This is such a small change that I didn't even bump a package version.
Guys, I just uploaded neko_Squeak-3.9.8.tardist to incoming. Squeak is an implementation of the powerful Smalltalk programming language and environment. Enjoy. MD5 (neko_Squeak-3.9.8.tardist) = 8fec41aaf26dde2134da25845b7b8ca1 Benchmarks on 500MHz Fuel: 5 tinyBenchmarks '18068887 bytecodes/s...

Linux distros usually have the "tzdata" package that handles the timezones. These things change so often that updating them only as part of basic OS quaterly can't work. The major timezones don't change that much (e.g. the March US 2007 change, Australia changed about a month ago, Brazil r...

Hello, I've just uploaded links2 . My first published tardist... Hoping that everything will be ok. PB Yay, links! I love this browser, actually used it for quite a while exclusively. It's good to have it or irix! As for the packaging, I miss spec and idb files. They usually come in "distribut...
