Re: FS: Various SGI, Sun, Apple, PC, etc. hardware

Can you post some pics of the Indigo (non-PS/2) keyboard and mouse? I'd like to grab these "just in case" a pretty purple tower (or black and purple cube) crosses my path in the future.

Also in Canada (postal code R2N 0B6), so shipping _should_ be reasonable.

Re: Small form factor IBM machine capable of aix 5.x?

In a slightly larger desktop case, the 43P could be a decent choice. These come in various configs, the 140 (166MHz-2xxMHz 604/604R), 150 (up to 375MHz 604R), and slightly more rare 240 (same CPU modules as the F40, usually around 233MHz 604R). These will all do up to AIX 5.3 with reasonable expect...

I've already make a new system on My O2 and now they work very well. I hope i will be able to do the same with my new Octane. This might seem like a silly question, but do you have any external SCSI CD-ROM you could connect to the Octane? This would be the simplest option if you were comfortable wi...

Are you willing to ship through a different carrier? UPS really sucks for Canadians (search google for 'UPS canada brokerage fees' if you want the gory details). I've had good experiences with USPS and FedEx.

Thanks,
Cory.

Item 180096662120 from eBay would be a nice addition to this system.

This is without a doubt one of the nicest R3K Indigos I've ever seen - what a classic!

Re: Indigo2 R12k 195, High Impact (w TRAM), 384MB, G160, EV1

This is pretty much a maxed Indigo2, with the exception of more RAM, but all of the 'hard' bits are there, and RAM is pretty easy to find. Well, if you're into true unobtainium you could search for an ev3 board with cosmo2 option: http://lurkertech.com/lg/ev3s.html http://www.futuretech.blinkenligh...

Looking for O2 parts

I'm looking for the following O2 parts:

R5000-200SC CPU module (or R5200-300 if cheap - not likely)
A/V board
O2 Cam
RAM (I currently have 4x32MB modules - would like at least another 128MB)

Thanks,
Cory.
