"Intergraph ZX10" problem with AGP Pro / Wildcat 7110

Hi. I have some sort of Franken-ZX10 built on base of a Tyan Thunder 2500 (s1867), which is the board of the intergraphs. I also flashed the SGI Bios on it, which is running great. Now i wanted to add graphics, and bought a Wildcat 7110 AGP Pro. Got the card, dropped it in: No output on the monitor,...

Re: Which SGI box is your favorite and why?

Tezro, the one and only. Because i like the color most of any sgi, and the form looks like some sort of sex-toy for giants :) Everybody seeing it the first time when he visits my home, says: WTF is this? The absolutely best looking thing is the illuminated 3D sgi logo on the front. I've seen this al...

Re: Dream came true - Tezro arrived, selfmade VRM/PSU probs

The detail pic is the third of the first post.
The second connector besides the atx 8pin is the pcie one which also has 12v, there was no fiddling with it - just plug it in.

Why dont you just take a silent ATX PSU?

For the Fans i can recommend the following:
- NOCTUA NF-R8 redux-1800 for the 80mm ones
- NOCTUA NF-A6x25 FLX for V12

I have this setup working and its quiet and cool.

Re: Tezro Wanted

Im willing to part out my tezro and sell you the case (good condition). Im asking about 10.000 Euros excluding shipping, which is additional 5.000 Euros. Seriously: Im happy all forum members are on the same side. If one would have a bad-ass looking workstation like pc case, i would recommend a HP C...

WTB: SGI Half-Rack

Hi.

Im looking for a half-rack to get my 19" Equipment in.
I would prefer the Prism over an altix one.

If you have one and are willing to sell, please send me a pm.

Greetings

Re: Fuel: Reinitialize DALLAS Chip?

I replaced the yellow battery a year ago, it shouldnt be dead.

So that means the Dallas chips i ordered are incompatible.

Re: Fuel: ERROR: SCAN:scan error - unable to reset scan hardware

Well i didn't have a blown psu. The current state is described in the Getting Started area, i can get the process started to bootp a kernel, but there in the boot-console it "freezes" (not really, but nothing is happening anymore). I also got it working to get output on the console while b...

Re: Fuel hangs at boot

Ok, even with ioc3 i dont have meaningful output on the console. What im curious about is that i dont have PROM boot output: 001a01-L1>pwr u 001a01-L1> entering console mode 001a01 console, <CTRL_T> to escape to L1 INFO: console subchannel changed: 001a01 CPU0 Starting PROM Boot process There it sto...
