Re: O2 RM7k 600 Mhz, 1Go Ram, AV

I just sent my RM5200 CPU board to Walther (edefault) some months ago.

The hack is just too hard to be done by yourself if your not an alien (or if just you don't have the hardware and high electronic skills) ;)

The result is pretty cool.

Re: O2, R10k 175

R10K250 are cool, 'cause you can easily upgrade to R12k300 :)

If you find an Octane R12k300 CPU module (very cheap on ebay), you can try this trick.

My DIY CPU works like a charm since last summer.

Warzone 2100, that is a cool game... After few hours tonight, I finally managed to have Warzone 2100 running on my Fuel, compiled with mipspro. Menus, sounds, animations, 3D effects, everything (or almost) seems to be working. http://www.nezetic.info/images/61.jpg http://www.nezetic.info/images/63....

Re: Putting a call out for a bare RM7000C BGA chip and SPROM

I still am in contact with a repair shop that will do the soldering work for about 120,- Euro. Anyone willing to have it upgraded to 600 MHz - please send me a working R5271 CPU module. I've sent you a PM on neko 2 weeks ago, but I've got no answer since. :( I've a spare O2 with RM5200 300 Mhz CPU ...

I totally forgot to say here on nekochan that I've written an article on my website for french speaking people. I make a big summary about O2 overclocking process. If this can help someone.

Re: Putting a call out for a bare RM7000C BGA chip and SPROM

I've got also an RM5200 300 Mhz, with 1 Mo L2, and I already contact some people few months ago, just to have an idea of what I need to do and the total cost, here in Europe, to transform it into quick toaster. Walther Mathieu helped me, and sent me interesting indications. I think I can post this e...
